Peter Ballantyne Cree Nations is a multi-community First Nation that represents eight separate communities with over 40 distinct reserves.
There are over 10,000 band members with approximately 70% still living residing in their home communities. Reserve communities include Pelican Narrows,Sandy Bay, Deschambault Lake, Southend,Kinoosao, Denare Beach, Sturgeon Landing and Prince Albert.
These communities are located in the geographic Northeastern side of Saskatchewan from the north end of Reindeer Lake (Kinoosao) to as far south as Prince Albert and east to Sturgeon Landing near the Manitoba border.
The traditional territory of the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation.. encompasses over 30,000 square kilometres. PBCN has commercial urban reserves within Prince Albert and Creighton city limits as well as other reserves in the surrounding municipality.
